While adult comedy films seem to have become more acceptable in Bollywood over the past few years, actor Varun Dhawan says he still has apprehensions about doing such films. According to the young actor, much of his fan base consists of young fans and he wants to respect that fact.
I will have a lot of apprehensions doing an adult comedy film. I feel my majority fan base are children. I don۪t want a frown on their face. Student Of The Year۪ and Main Tera Hero۪ have brought a lot of children fans and they have liked me. So, I don۪t want to disappoint them in that sense, Dhawan said in an interview to PTI.
Dhawan will next be seen in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania۪, which hits cinemas this weekend. He is also set to star in Sriram Raghavan۪s Badlapur۪ and Remo D۪Souza۪s ABCD 2۪.
