Varun Dhawan: “Next year will be pretty busy for me”

Varun Dhawan, after having a number of releases in 2015, has only had one release this year in the form of ‘Dishoom’ (2016). However, Dhawan has said that this was a conscious thing for him but in 2o17, he’ll be changing gears once more.

Dhawan expressed the need to keep up with changing trends, according to Hindustan Times, “In 2017, I’ll have more than one film release for sure. I feel our audience is changing. One should reflect on the changes and observe, before taking things ahead. Next year will be pretty busy for me”.

The actor explained that he’s made an important decision, “One thing I have decided that from now on, I’ll try to put a message for the audience in every film I do. My next film is Badrinath Ki Dulhania with Alia (Bhatt). Though it’s a love story, it has an important message too. If I do something and there is a meaning attached to it, then it will have more meaning for me.”

After ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, Dhawan will also begin ‘Judwaa 2’ which will see him being directed by his father David for the first time.
