Varun Dhawan gives nod to ‘Coolie No.1’ remake?

BizAsiaLive.com reported recently that Varun Dhawan and father David Dhawan were looking to revive the popular “No.1” series of films that the latter is known for. However, it seems now they’ve zeroed in on just one remake.

It seems 1995 film ‘Coolie No.1’ is the one the duo will be remaking and Varun is thought to have agreed to be a part of the film, which originally starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. A report in Filmfare suggests that the Dhawans coming together will hopefully be a surefire success again.

It was initially thought that a few of the series would get contemporary remakes but it’s not now clear whether this is entirely true.

Varun was last seen in ‘Sui Dhaaga’ (2018) which did well with the audiences.
