After the grand success of his second film ‘Main Tera Hero’ (2014), Varun Dhawan is going to play the toughest role of his career so far in Sriram Raghavan’s directorial venture.

The actor will be portraying a character of a 60-year-old man which is likely to be similar to his performance on ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ during ‘Main Tera Hero”s promotions.

“In Sriram Raghavan’s film, I’ve what may probably be the most challenging role that I’d ever do in my career. I know I’ve just started out. But Sriram’s film gives me a very complex character to play. I can guarantee you this would be the toughest role I’d get to play for a very long time.” Dhawan told IANS.

He continued, “I’ve to take my character through a number of generations. I’ve to play both younger and much older than my actual age. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Sriram’s approach to filmmaking is very different from that of any other filmmaker that I know of.”

However, Dhawan will be next seen in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ opposite Alia Bhatt. The film is a romantic comedy directed by Shashank Khaitan and is being produced under the banner of Dharma Productions.

Again, later this year, Dhawan would feature in a sequel to ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’ in Las Vegas.
