Varun Dhawan to get wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong

After the super success of ‘Judwaa 2’, Varun Dhawan has even more reason to rejoice after becoming the fourth Indian figure to join the Madame Tussauds Hong Kong wax-work museum.

He will join Mahatma Gandhi, Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan as the other icons already waxed at the world famous museum.

General Manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, Jenny You said, “Varun Dhawan is one of the most requested figures and we are delighted to be partnering with this Bollywood great actor. Hong Kong is a multicultural metropolis which makes us a unique brand. Visitors can meet both Hollywood, Asian and also Bollywood stars here at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. The worldwide popularity of Bollywood films makes people in Hong Kong increasingly embrace Bollywood culture. As the first youngest Indian Bollywood actor to be waxed, we are confident that Varun’s figure will bring visitors an all-new experience.”

Deccan Chronicle reports that the Madame Tussauds have already met Dhawan to conduct a detailed sitting process. The report adds that more than 200 measurements have been taken, plus hair and eye colour being matched.
