Varun Dhawan confirms working with Shoojit Sircar

BizAsiaLive.com recently reported whispers of Varun Dhawan having signed Shoojit Sircar’s next. If further reports are to be believed, the actor has now come out and confirmed that he is indeed.

During an event for Singapore Tourism, though the actor wasn’t ready to go into any details, Pinkvilla reported Dhawan stating, “We have come here for my next film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and Singapore tourism, so this is not the right place for me to speak about it. But I confirm the news.”

The film, written by ‘Piku’ (2015) writer Juhi Chaturvedi, is said to be a dark thriller. Dhawan’s last and only stint in this genre was in Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Badlapur’ (2015) which was received with great applause.
