Varun Dhawan & Anushka Sharma to team up for YRF’s ‘Sui Dhaaga’

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma will be coming together for the first time in Yash Raj Film’s latest film ‘Sui Dhaaga -Made In India’.

Hindustan Times reports that the film will be written and directed by Sharat Katariya, who was behind the 2015 hit ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’. It will be produced by Maneesh Sharma.

Talking about the film, Dhawan was cited in the publication saying, “From Gandhiji (Mahatma Gandhi) to Modiji (Prime Minister Narendra Modi), our country’s leaders have always endorsed the ideology of ‘Made in India’. With our film, I am proud to take their message to millions of people in a relevant manner.”

Sharma added, “It’s a story of self-reliance that I believe will connect with every Indian. And I am really looking forward to work with Varun and the team of Maneesh and Sharat.”

This is the first time Dhawan will work under the Yash Raj Films banner.
