Varun approached for Shoojit Sircar’s football film?

BizAsiaLive.com told you recently that Ranbir Kapoor has turned down a football film being helmed by Shoojit Sircar. It’s now being said that Sircar has approached none other than Varun Dhawan for the same project.

Sircar and Dhawan are already collaborating for ‘October’ and it seems the latter will be giving his decision on this new film very soon. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Varun’s schedule is quite tight”.

“He has signed on for some really good films, where he fits to the tee. He’s a producer and a director friendly actor, who doesn’t keep people waiting when being approached for projects. Unlike Ranbir, Varun isn’t much into football, but is in top shape for the role. The question here is only of the dates,” added the insider.

Dhawan definitely does have some interesting films in his kitty currently. He’ll be gracing the screens next in ‘Judwaa 2’.
