Varun-Alia in Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Shiv Ki Dulhania’?

BizAsia reported some time ago that Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt could be starring in Shashank Khaitan’s next. Now, it’s emerged that the director is ready with his script and the film has been tentatively given the title ‘Shiv Ki Dulhania’.

‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ (2014) was directed by Khaitan and starred the popular jodi and it seems the same team could well come together once more. The title refers to Dhawan’s character who will reportedly be a bhakt of Lord Shiv, according to Absolute India.

If the two actors come together then it’ll be the third time they come together on the big screen, having debuted together in 2012.

News also has it that the film is expected to go on the floors in May and then will release on 26th January 2017.
