Urvashi Dholakia confirms her participation in ‘Nach Baliye 9’

One of Indian television’s popular actresses, Urvashi Dholakia has confirmed her participation in the upcoming Star Plus dance show ‘Nach Baiye 9’.

The actress, known for playing Komolika in the cult series ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, is expected to be join on the show by her ex-boyfriend, Anuj Sachdeva, but this is yet to be confirmed.

Dholakia told Mirror, “The show’s creative team is still in talks to figure out who would be the best match for me. It will be interesting. As far as chemistry goes, we will just have to wait and see how everything else works out.”

Asked why she took up the show, she added, “I took it up as I’ve always loved dancing and through this platform I could learn so much more. For me, it’s like acting. I’ve always wanted to be on TV and not watch it from the outside, the same goes for dance! I recently shot a promo in a grand setup.”

Her previous dance training may also help her on the show. About this, she said, “That was many years ago, but it comes naturally to me. As far as prep for the show goes, we begin workshops shortly.”

‘Nach Baliye 9’ starts on Star Plus in July.
