Urmila Matondkar looking at women-centric scripts?

Having last been seen in Sujay Dahake’s ‘Ajoba’ in 2014, Urmila Matondkar hasn’t been on the Bollywood radar for quite some time. However, if news is to be believed the actress has now started looking at a few scripts that may have her playing the protagonist.

According to Deccan Chronicle, a source revealed, “She has been reading scripts for a while, but nothing exciting has come her way. Having said that, she has received many women-centric roles, and there is this one particular script that she has liked, but she has not signed it yet.”

Apparently the actress will be seen shaking a leg in an item song, from the Irrfan Khan starer ‘Raita’. However, when it comes to a full fledged film, it looks like Matondkar fans may have to wait a little while longer.
