Pakistani entertainment channel, Urdu1 Europe has been removed from the Sky EPG.

The channel, which launched in March last year, has underperformed in the UK market with ratings on the lower side. While its programming has worked well in Pakistan, its not been able to replicate the same success in the UK.

A spokesperson for Urdu1 Europe told BizAsiaLive.com that the channel was taken off due to a “technical issue”. It is not yet clear when it will return.

Urdu1 Europe was available on Sky EPG 861 before it was removed this afternoon.

Keep it with BizAsiaLive.com for more.
