There is outcry all over India, after a popular contestant on a talent show was eliminated.

10-year-old Aamir Hafiz, who was leading the pack of youngsters on ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs’ last night, has been voted out of the show. His elder brother Firoz has blamed ZEE TV for indulging in unfair practices. He has stated that Aamir has been deliberately been eliminated because he belongs to a minority community.

He continued to say that ZEE do not want a member of the Muslim community to win the show.

Aamir۪s brother and uncle then went onto cause chaos on the sets of the show, claiming that Aamir was a much better singer than the others.

ZEE TV executive vice-president Ashish Kaul expressed that anger and upset usually happens when people are eliminated.

Aamir has been a sensation, since he has been on the show, even managing to grab a playback deal with ‘Om Shanti Om’ composers Vishal-Shekhar for a track in ‘Bhootnath’.
