Universal Studios to acquire stake in Excel Entertainment?
Following Adar Poonawalla’s Serene Productions investing in Dharma Productions, reports suggest that Universal Studios is exploring a similar move with Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
Insiders indicate that Universal is considering acquiring a stake ranging from a minority share to as much as 50% in the production house. However, these talks remain in the early stages.
