UK TV Reach: Zing breaks own record figures

ZEE Network’s lifestyle and music channel, Zing has beaten its own records by delivering one its biggest ever UK reach, according to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 10th April 2016.

Star Plus comfortably stayed ahead of its rival with over a million viewers tuned in the week in question. The channel registered 1,022,000 viewers (last week 898,000 viewers), followed by a resurgent, Zing with an incredible 724,000 viewers (last week 522,000 viewers). Rishtey remained in third with 667,000 viewers (last week 594,000 viewers) UMP Movies slipped to fourth with 639,000 viewers (last week 610,000 viewers) and &TV with 575,000 viewers (last week 587,000 viewers).

The next tier consisted of Colors with 549,000 viewers (last week 514,000 viewers), SAB TV with 515,000 viewers (last week 528,000 viewers), Star Gold with 474,000 viewers (last week 496,000 viewers), Hum TV with 412,000 viewers (last week 426,000 viewers), Life Ok with 391,000 viewers (last week 349,000 viewers) and Prime TV with 369,000 viewers (last week 311,000 viewers).

The bottom tier consisted of Geo TV with 277,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 230,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 224,000 viewers, Venus TV with 199,000 viewers, PTV Global with 186,000 viewers, Brit Asia TV with 147,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 140,000 viewers,

ARY News remained the most watched South Asian news channel in UK with 461,000 viewers (last week 496,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 369,000 viewers, Dunya TV with 280,000 viewers, SAMAA TV with 229,000 viewers and Geo Tez with 220,000 viewers. The next tier consisted of ABP News with 219,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 129,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 119,000 viewers, Times Now with 85,000 viewers and News18 with 23,000 viewers.
