UK TV Reach: &TV stays strong at No.2

ZEE Network’s popular channel, &TV grew further at No.2 in latest weekly reach data in the UK, according to figures from week ending Sunday 24th July.

Star Plus stayed ahead as the UK’s top Asian channel with 911,000 viewers (last week 818,000 viewers), followed by &TV with 724,000 viewers (last week 618,000 viewers) and UMP Movies with 722,000 viewers (last week 597,000 viewers). Star Gold was in fourth with 558,000 viewers (last week 511,000 viewers) and Zing was in fifth with 527,000 viewers (last week 429,000 viewers).

The next batch consisted of Hum TV with 515,000 viewers (last week 451,000 viewers), Rishtey with 489,000 viewers (last week 601,000 viewers), followed by SAB TV with 480,000 viewers (last week 456,000 viewers), Colors with 419,000 viewers (last week 398,000 viewers) and Life Ok also with 419,000 viewers (last week 399,000 viewers) and PTV Global with 281,000 viewers (last week 188,000 viewers).

The bottom tier consisted of Prime TV with 273,000 viewers, PTC Global with 240,000 viewers, Geo TV with 223,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 201,000 viewers, Venus TV with 186,000 viewers, Brit Asia TV with 127,000 viewers and Akaal Channel with 86,000 viewers.

On the news front, ARY News remained the dominant force with a weekly reach of 506,000 viewers (last week 484,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 358,000 viewers (last week 357,000 viewers) and Dunya TV with 305,000 viewers (last week 219,000 viewers). The next batch consisted of Geo Tez with 246,000 viewers, followed by SAMAA TV with 221,000 viewers, ABP News with 226,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 155,000 viewers and NDTV 24×7 with 137,000 viewers. News18 scored 39,000 viewers and Times Now with 28,000 viewers.
