UK TV Reach: &TV & Rishtey move up to No.2 & 3

ZEE Network’s second entertainment channel, &TV has climbed up to the No.2 position in latest UK ratings, while Rishtey stood behind at No.3, according to official weekly reach data for Sunday 17th July 2016.

Star Plus slid but remained the UK’s most watched Asian channel with a reach of 818,000 viewers (last week 908,000 viewers), followed by &TV with 618,000 viewers (last week 535,000 viewers) and Rishtey in third with 601,000 viewers (last week 488,000 viewers). UMP Movies was in fourth with 597,000 viewers (last week 523,000 viewers) and Star Gold fetched 511,000 viewers (last week 439,000 viewers).

The next batch consisted of SAB TV with 456,000 viewers (last week 354,000 viewers), Hum TV with 451,000 viewers (last week 509,000 viewers), followed by Zing with 429,000 viewers (last week 422,000 viewers), Life Ok with 399,000 viewers (last week 367,000 viewers) and Colors with 398,000 viewers (last week 542,000 viewers).

The bottom tier consisted of Geo TV with 262,000 viewers, Prime TV with 228,000 viewers, Venus TV with 196,000 viewers, PTV Global with 188,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 180,000 viewers, Brit Asia TV with 133,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 103,000 viewers and Akaal Channel with 40,000 viewers.

On the news front, ARY News was back on top with 484,000 viewers (last week 469,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 357,000 viewers and Geo Tez with 233,000 viewers. SAMAATV was in fourth with 222,000 viewers, followed by Dunya TV with 219,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 147,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 169,000 viewers and ABP News with 121,000 viewers.

Times Now registered 42,000 viewers and News18 was on the bottom with just 22,000 viewers.
