Star Plus stayed top in UK weekly reach data, while &TV moved up to No.2, according to official BARB weekly reach data for period ending Sunday 18th February 2018.
Star Plus’ weekly reach stood at 604,000 viewers (down from 687,000 viewers), followed by &TV with 379,000 viewers, Zing with 346,000 viewers, Sony Entertainment Television with 326,000 viewers, Sony SAB TV with 321,000 viewers and Hum TV with 316,000 viewers. These were followed by Rishtey with 254,000 viewers, Colors with 249,000 viewers, ZEE TV with 217,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 212,000 viewers, Hum Masala with 197,000 viewers, Prime TV with 195,000 viewers, Venus TV with 186,000 viewers, Geo TV with 178,000 viewers and Star Bharat with 173,000 viewers.
The next tier consisted of PTV Global with 125,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 109,000 viewers, ATN Bangla with 99,000 viewers, ARY Family with 95,000 viewers, NTV Europe with 90,000 viewers, TV 99 with 83,000 viewers, Geo Kahani with 81,000 viewers, ZEE Punjabi with 60,000 viewers and Urdu1 Europe with 52,000 viewers.
Sony MAX emerged as the No.1 Indian movie channel in the UK with a reach of 389,000 viewers, followed by Rishtey Cineplex with 379,000 viewers and Star Gold, which slipped to No.3 with 358,000 viewers. Next were ZEE Cinema with 298,000 viewers and B4U Movies with 291,000 viewers.
Brit Asia TV was top South Asian music channel with 257,000 viewers, followed by B4U Music with 196,000 viewers, MTV Beats with 100,000 viewers and Sony Mix with 46,000 viewers.
Geo News led the South Asian genre with a reach of 256,000 viewers, closely followed by New Vision TV with 254,000 viewers and Dunya News with 173,000 viewers. ABP News was next with 161,000 viewers, followed by Samaa TV with 133,00 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 131,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 108,000 viewers, UK 44 with 75,000 viewers, 92 News with 31,000 viewers, Times Now with 21,000 viewers and News18 with 4,000 viewers.
