UK TV Reach: Star Plus stays top; Sony SAB TV at No.2

Star Plus remained the clear No.1 in UK weekly reach data for week ending Sunday 11th March 2018, while Sony SAB TV moved up to No.2

Star Plus’ weekly reach stood at 619,000 viewers – down from 669,000 viewers last week. It was followed by Sony SAB TV with 376,000 viewers, Hum TV with 334,000 viewers, Sony Entertainment Television and Colors with 318,000 viewers and Prime TV with 302,000 viewers. The others that followed were Hum Masala with 270,000 viewers, Zing with 263,000 viewers, Star Bharat with 252,000 viewers and &TV with 212,000 viewers.

The next tier consisted of Rishtey with 190,000 viewers, ZEE TV with 176,000 viewers, Venus TV with 175,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 142,000 viewers, Geo TV with 131,000 viewers, NTV Europe with 100,000 viewers, PTV Global with 85,000 viewers, ARY Family with 84,000 viewers, ATN Bangla with 83,000 viewers, TV99 with 78,000 viewers, Geo Kahani with 69,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 68,000 viewers and ZEE Punjabi with 59,000 viewers.

Movie genre
Rishtey Cineplex was the biggest Bollywood film channel in the UK with a weekly reach of 477,000 viewers, followed by Sony MAX with 386,000 viewers and Star Gold with 381,000 viewers. ZEE Cinema clocked 332,000 viewers and B4U Movies with 308,000 viewers.

Music genre
B4U Music was the most watched Asian music channel with a reach of 305,000 viewers, followed by MTV Beats with 111,000 viewers and Brit Asia TV with 100,000 viewers. Sony Mix with 37,000 viewers.

News genre
Geo News triumphed in the South Asian news genre with a reach of 267,000 viewers, followed by New Vision TV with 223,000 viewers, Samaa TV with 182,000 viewers, ABP News with 156,000 viewers and Dunya News with 128,000 viewers. Aaj Tak delivered 71,000 viewers, followed by UK 44 with 47,000 viewers, 92 News with 46,000 viewers and Times Now with 33,000 viewers.
