UK TV Reach: Star Plus stays top; Brit Asia TV drops

Star Plus remained the UK’s favourite Asian TV channel, while &TV increased its weekly reach and Brit Asia TV fell to a new low, according to official data for week ending Sunday 19th February.

Star Plus delivered 936,000 viewers (last week 903,000 viewers), followed by &TV with 608,000 viewers (last week 539,000 viewers) and Star Gold with 591,000 viewers (last week 589,000 viewers). Rounding off the Top 5 were Sony SAB TV with 497,000 viewers and Life OK with 441,000 viewers.

The next tier consisted of Colors with 428,000 viewers, followed by Rishtey Cineplex with 419,000 viewers, Prime TV with 417,000 viewers, Zing with 381,000 viewers, B4U Music with 378,000 viewers, Hum TV with 341,000 viewers and Rishtey with 322,000 viewers.

The bottom tier consisted of PTC Punjabi with 247,000 viewers, followed by Geo TV with 245,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 226,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 144,000 viewers, ATN Bangla with 176,000 viewers, Star Utsav with 117,000 viewers, Venus TV with 112,000 viewers, PTV Global with 76,000 viewers, A Plus Europe with 47,000 viewers and Brit Asia TV slid with just 17,000 viewers.
