UK TV Reach: Star Plus remains top; Colors moves up to No.2

Star Plus held on to the No.1 position in UK weekly reach data, while Colors moved up to No.2 in latest ratings for week ending Sunday 15th April 2018.

Star Plus delivered a reach of 611,000 viewers – up from 571,000 viewers last week, followed by Colors with 386,000 viewers, Sony Entertainment Television with 272,000 viewers, Zing with 253,000 viewers, Hum TV with 247,000 viewers, ZEE TV with 231,000 viewers, Sony SAB TV with 199,000 viewers, Hum Masala with 198,000 viewers, Star Bharat with 180,000 viewers, Venus TV with 178,000 viewers, &TV with 167,000 viewers, Rishtey with 165,000 viewers, TV 99 with 159,000 viewers and PTC Punjabi with 153,000 viewers.

The next tier consisted of NTV Europe and ATN Bangla with 133,000 viewers, Prime TV with 130,000 viewers, Geo TV with 122,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 108,000 viewers, Geo Kahani with 100,000 viewers, Living Foodz with 98,000 viewers, PTV Global with 85,000 viewers, ARY Family with 40,000 viewers and Urdu1 Europe with 39,000 viewers.

Movie genre
Star Gold led the Bollywood film genre with 378,000 viewers, followed by Sony MAX with 362,000 viewers, ZEE Cinema with 351,000 viewers, Rishtey Cineplex with 282,000 viewers and B4U Movies with 174,000 viewers.

Music genre
B4U Music remained the biggest South Asian music channel with 286,000 viewers, followed by Brit Asia TV with 125,000 viewers, Sony Mix with 83,000 viewers and MTV Beats with 58,000 viewers.

News genre
NDTV 24×7 emerged as the strongest South Asian news channel with a reach of 163,000 viewers, followed by closely by Geo News with 160,000 viewers, ABP News with 158,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 146,000 viewers and Samaa TV with 115,000 viewers. Others in the pecking order included New Vision TV with 100,000 viewers, Dunya News with 92,000 viewers, 92 News with 85,000 viewers, News18 with 68,000 viewers and UK 44 with 52,000 viewers.
