UK TV Reach: Star Plus remains strong at No.1

Star Plus remained strong at No.1 in latest UK TV weekly reach data, despite growing competition from rivals, according to BARB figures for week ending Sunday 30th July 2017.

Star Plus registered a reach of 685,000 viewers – up from 625,000 viewers last week. It was followed by Sony SAB TV with 532,000 viewers, Rishtey Cineplex with 442,000 viewers, Star Gold with 417,000 viewers, Colors with 406,000 viewers and Rishtey with 402,000 viewers.

The next tier consisted of Hum TV with 389,000 viewers, followed by Zing with 362,000 viewers, &TV with 339,000 viewers, B4U Music with 273,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 253,000 viewers, Life OK with 240,000 viewers and Brit Asia TV with 220,000 viewers.

The bottom tier consisted of Prime TV with 187,000 viewers, followed by Geo TV with 178,000 viewers, Star Utsav with 153,000 viewers, ZEE TV with 121,000 viewers, Venus TV with 107,000 viewers, ZEE Cinema with 102,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 98,000 viewers, PTV Global with 88,000 viewers, See TV with 78,000 viewers, ATN Bangla with 77,000 viewers, MTV Beats with 58,000 viewers, A Plus Europe with 54,000 viewers, ZEE Punjabi with 38,000 viewers and Urdu1 Europe with 34,000 viewers.

Geo News remained the most watched South Asian news channel in the UK with 280,000 viewers, followed by New Vision TV with 252,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 238,000 viewers, Samaa TV with 208,000 viewers and UK 44 with 204,000 viewers. Geo Tez was next with 187,000 viewers, followed by NDTV 24×7 with 170,000 viewers, Dunya News with 165,000 viewers, ABP News with 113,000 viewers, News18 with 45,000 viewers and Times Now with 21,000 viewers.
