UK TV Reach: Star Plus overtakes Sony TV; Star Gold jumps to No.1
There was a reshuffle at the top of the pecking order in latest weekly reach figures, with Star Gold jumping to the No.1 position for the first time and Star Plus moving ahead of Sony Entertainment Television, according to BARB numbers for week ending Sunday 31st March 2019.
The Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) coverage has given Star Gold an unprecedented position in the movie genre. It was overall the most watched Asian TV channel last week, leaping ahead of sister channel, Star Plus for the first time in the history of UK ratings.
