Sony Entertainment Television whizzed passed the 500k weekly reach mark for the first time and at the same time, closed the gap on market leader Star Plus on top, according to BARB data for week ending Sunday 8th July 2018.
Star Plus registered a reach of 627,000 viewers – down from 638,000 viewers last week. Sony TV was in second place with a record reach of 505,000 viewers – up from 402,000 viewers last week. This was followed by Colors with 413,000 viewers, ZEE TV with 362,000 viewers, Hum TV with 327,000 viewers, Zing with 286,000 viewers, Prime TV with 271,000 viewers and Star Bharat with 268,000 viewers.
The next tier consisted of Hum Masala and Rishtey with 186,000 viewers, Sony SAB TV with 165,000 viewers, Venus TV with 164,000 viewers, PTV Global with 145,000 viewers, Geo TV with 143,000 viewers, &TV with 116,000 viewers, ATN Bangla with 113,000 viewers, ARY Family with 85,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 75,000 viewers, NTV Europe with 73,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 66,000 viewers, Iqra TV with 56,000 viewers, Living Foodz with 54,000 viewers, Urdu1 Europe with 34,000 viewers and Geo Kahani with 32,000 viewers.
