UK TV Reach: Sony MAX takes No.1 spot in UK

In just a month since it joined the Sky Original Pack, Sony MAX has managed to beat rival channels to take the No.1 spot in the Bollywood movie genre.

According to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 20th August, Sony MAX registered a weekly reach of 383,000 viewers (last week 361,000 viewers). It was well ahead of its rivals with Rishtey Cineplex placed at No.2 with 322,000 viewers, followed by Star Gold at No.3 with 285,000 viewers, ZEE Cinema at No.4 with 198,000 viewers and B4U Movies with 153,000 viewers.

The movie ‘Sachin – A Billion Dreams’ was the biggest movie of the week with 22,000 viewers watching it on Sony MAX.
