UK TV Reach: Samaa TV takes lead; ABP News slumps

Since the exit of ARY Network from the UK market, Samaa TV seems to be the biggest gainer with record viewership, according to BARB weekly reach data for week ending Sunday 19th February.

Samaa TV remained the UK’s most watched South Asian news channel with 332,000 viewers (last week 235,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 298,000 viewers (last week 213,000 viewers) and Dunya News with 247,000 viewers (last week 167,000 viewers). Geo Tez was placed in fourth with 237,000 viewers, followed by NDTV 24×7 with 147,000 viewers, Channel 44 with 108,000 viewers and Aaj Tak with 105,000 viewers.

ABP News tumbled down to just 89,000 viewers (last week 196,000 viewers), followed by News18 with 77,000 viewers and Times Now with 43,000 viewers.
