&TV’s loss in reach data has been Hum TV and UMP Movies gain in latest weekly reach figures, according to BARB for week ending Sunday 7th August 2016.
Star Plus remained the nation’s favourite Asian TV channel with 958,000 viewers (last week 787,000 viewers), followed by Hum TV with 556,000 viewers (last week 503,000 viewers), UMP Movies with 543,000 viewers (last week 632,000 viewers), &TV with 501,000 viewers (last week 648,000 viewers) and Zing with 499,000 viewers (last week 589,000 viewers).
The next tier consisted of Star Gold with 426,000 viewers (last week 523,000 viewers), followed by SAB TV with 415,000 viewers (last week 479,000 viewers), Life Ok with 415,000 viewers (last week 379,000 viewers), Colors with 409,000 viewers (last week 404,000 viewers), Rishtey with 393,000 viewers (last week 556,000 viewers), Prime TV with 302,000 viewers (last week 261,000 viewers) and Geo TV with 301,000 viewers (last week 266,000 viewers).
The bottom tier consisted of PTC Punjabi with 186,000 viewers, PTV Global with 184,000 viewers, ATN Bangla with 178,000 viewers, Venus TV with 137,000 viewers, Brit Asia TV with 134,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 121,000 viewers and Akaal Channel with 119,000 viewers.
ARY News was the UK’s most watched South Asian news channel with a reach of 441,000 viewers (last week 475,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 298,000 viewers (last week 293,000 viewers) and Dunya TV with 273,000 viewers in third. Geo Tez was next with 270,000 viewers, followed by SAMAA TV with 261,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 159,000 viewers, ABP News with 141,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 126,000 viewers, News18 with 27,000 viewers and Times Now with just 16,000 viewers.
