UK TV Reach: Geo News touches record heights

ARY News remained the UK’s most watched South Asian news channel with a comfortable victory over its rivals, according to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 1st January 2017.

The channel registered a weekly reach of 563,000 viewers (last week 493,000 viewers). The big surprise came in at No.2 with Geo News scoring high with 450,000 viewers – its biggest ever reach. It was followed by Geo Tez and Dunya TV with 253,000 viewers, SAMAA TV with 231,000 viewers and Indian news service, NDTV 24×7 with 208,000 viewers.

The next tier consisted of the remaining Indian news channels with ABP News at No.7 with 171,000 viewers, Aaj Tak next with 127,000 viewers, Times Now with 81,000 viewers and News18 at the bottom with 34,000 viewers.
