UK TV Reach: ATN Bangla moves ahead of rivals

ATN Bangla has increased its weekly reach data in its second week since reporting official viewing data in the UK from BARB.

According to weekly reach figures for week ending Sunday 14th August 2016, ATN Bangla reported a reach of 228,000 viewers (last week 178,000 viewers). It was ahead of the likes of Geo TV with 206,000 viewers, Prime TV with 200,000 viewers, PTV Global with 187,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 149,000 viewers, Venus TV with 131,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 102,000 viewers and Brit Asia TV slumped to just 64,000 viewers.

The UK’s most watched Asian entertainment channel remained Star Plus with 844,000 viewers (last week 958,000 viewers), followed by UMP Movies with 530,000 viewers (last week 543,000 viewers), &TV with 522,000 viewers (last week 501,000 viewers), Star Gold with 498,000 viewers (last week 426,000 viewers), Rishtey with 490,000 viewers (last week 393,000 viewers) and Hum TV with 481,000 viewers (last week 556,000 viewers).

The next tier consisted of Zing with 469,000 viewers, Colors with 408,000 viewers, Life Ok with 391,000 viewers, SAB TV with 387,000 viewers and PTC Punjabi with 263,000 viewers.

In the news genre, ARY News led with 447,000 viewers (last week 441,000 viewers), followed by SAMAA TV with 270,000 viewers, Geo News with 251,000 viewers, Geo Tez with 199,000 viewers, Dunya TV with 192,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 167,000 viewers, ABP News with 124,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 59,000 viewers, Times Now with 32,000 viewers and News18 with 12,000 viewers.
