UK restaurant names a dish after Shilpa Shetty

Shilpa Shetty, who rose to fame in the UK during her appearing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ (2000), is back in people’s mouths literally as a popular restaurant has named a dish after her.

A source close to Shetty, who won the reality TV show during the 2008 season, stated, according to DNA India, “Shilpa dropped by at an Indian restaurant with her family during a recent visit. Towards the end of their meal, the owner invited her into the kitchen and introduced her to the head chef. She shared the traditional South Indian recipe for roasted fish which now features under their specials section. The dish is served along with a dessert, whose recipe was also shared by the actress with the restaurant.”
