UK ratings: Zing close to eclipsing Colors

Zing has come whiskers of eclipsing Colors in the UK ratings, according to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 3rd November.

While, Star Plus stayed on top of the UK ratings with 1,145,000, UMP Movies improved its weekly reach with an impressive 900,000 viewers tuning into the channel. Rishtey stayed in third with 748,000 viewers. Colors was fourth with 686,000 – only slightly ahead of Zing, which got a record high audience of 683,000 during this period.

A resurgent Star Life Ok was in sixth place with a high of 571,000 viewers, followed by Star Gold with 552,000 viewers and Sony SAB TV in eight with 509,000 viewers.

Amongst the news channels, Al Jazeera English led the ratings with 861,000 viewers, ARY News was in second place with 294,000 viewers, followed by Aaj Tak with 271,000 viewers and Geo News with 250,000. NDTV 24×7 climbed up the ratings with 207,000, SAMAA TV was next with 171,000 and News18 India lagging behind with 54,000 viewers.
