UK ratings: UMP Movies & Rishtey stay up

UMP Movies and Rishtey have managed to stay close to the top of the UK ratings in terms of weekly reach, according to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 2nd June.

However, it was Star Plus that shows no signs of waning. The channel delivered a weekly reach of 1,153,000, followed by UMP Movies (941,000) and Rishtey (912,000). In fourth place was Star Gold with the repeat telecast of ‘Dabangg 2’ on Bank Holiday Monday (27th May) attracting 129,600 viewers at 20:00.

Zing was in fifth place with 554,000 viewers – ‘World Of Bollywood’ in the weeknight slot has proved a success for the channel and so have the weekend Bollywood movies.

In sixth place was Star Life Ok with 471,000, Sony SAB TV with 464,000 and Sahara One with 373,000.

Amongst the news channels, Al Jazeera English led the ratings with weekly reach of 873,000, ARY News with 419,000 and Aaj Tak in third with 309,000.
