UK ratings: UMP Movies moves back to second

Bollywood film channel, UMP Movies moved back to second place resulting Colors shifting to third, according to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 14th December 2014.

Star Plus remained the dominant player at top with 1,170,000 viewers (up from 1,049,000 viewers), followed by UMP Movies with 838,000 viewers (up from 490,000 viewers), Colors in third with 802,000 viewers (up from 734,000 viewers), Rishtey in fourth place with 636,000 viewers (down from 665,000 viewers) and Zing in fifth with 599,000 viewers (up from 565,000 viewers).

The next tier consisted of Hum TV Europe, which was slightly down from 625,000 viewers to 580,000 viewers this week, followed by Star Gold with 569,000 viewers, SAB TV with 490,000 viewers, Life Ok with 372,000 viewers, Lamhe with 331,000 viewers, DM Global with 221,000 viewers, Brit Asia TV with 209,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 178,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 163,000 viewers, PTV Global with 161,000 viewers.

ARY News stayed on top of the UK Asian news channels with 449,000 viewers (down from 496,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 343,000 viewers, SAMAA TV with 323,000 viewers, Geo Tez with 281,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 202,000 viewers, Aaj Tak and ABP News with 192,000 viewers and News18 India with 55,000 viewers.
