UK ratings: &TV & Zing stay ahead of Colors

ZEE Network channels continued to dominate UK ratings with &TV and Zing outperforming old rivals, Colors and Rishtey.

According to official BARB data for week ending 9th August, Star Plus topped with a reach of 893,000 viewers (last week 803,000 viewers), followed by &TV with 645,000 viewers (last week 661,000 viewers) and Zing in third place with 624,000 viewers (last week 590,000 viewers). UMP Movies was in fourth place with 631,000 viewers (last week 730,000 viewers) and Colors next with 556,000 viewers.

The next tier consisted of Rishtey with 562,000 viewers, Hum TV with 468,000 viewers, Star Gold with 439,000 viewers, SAB TV with 438,000 viewers, Geo TV with 281,000 viewers, Venus TV with 214,000 viewers and PTC Punjabi with 201,000 viewers.

Life Ok slumped to 188,000 viewers, PTV Global with 153,000 viewers, Sikh Channel 143,000 viewers, Prime TV with 142,000 viewers, DM Global with 105,000 viewers, TV99 with 74,000 viewers, Brit Asia TV with 66,000 viewers and Akaal Channel with 57,000 viewers.

ARY News remained the leading South Asian news channel in the UK with 481,000 viewers (479,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 300,000 viewers, Geo Tez with 210,000 viewers, Dunya News with 272,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 179,000 viewers, SAMAA TV with 173,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 164,000 viewers, ABP News with 133,000 viewers and News18 India with just 28,000 viewers.
