UK ratings: ‘SurKshetra’ scores for Rishtey

Popular talent show ‘SurKshetra’ has managed to score in a huge way for Rishtey, despite also being aired on Sahara One at the same time.

The competition between India and Pakistan singers was originally exclusively made for Sahara One, however, its rights were shared between Colors India (Rishtey UK) and Geo Entertainment Pakistan (Aag TV UK).

Surprisingly, the numbers on Rishtey are nearly five times more than Sahara One. According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia from Attentional, Rishtey delivered an audience of 115,800 on Saturday 15th December between 21:00 and 22:30. Sahara One on the other hand could only muster in 19,700 during the same time band.

On Sunday 16th December, the second episode of the weekend aired during the same saw Rishtey scoring again with 117,800, while Sahara One pulled in 13,500.

The numbers are set to increase over the next couple of weeks as the show comes to an end on Saturday 29th December.
