UK ratings: Star Plus continues lead

Star Plus remained the undisputed market leader in the UK with nearly double the ratings of its closest rival, according to data from BARB for week ending Sunday 11th November.

The channel delivered a weekly reach of 1,255 and UMP Stars, which was in second place managed to stay above 700k with a reach of 703,000. The top three rounded off with newcomer Rishtey, which continued its upwards trend from 619,000 to 643,000.

Star Gold was in fourth with 535,000 and Zing in fifth with 437,000. Star Life Ok was not far behind with 431,000. Sunrise TV was in seventh with 324,000.

The bottom tier remained unchanged with Sony SAB TV in eighth with a reach of 218,000. UMP Stars was in ninth with 206,000 and Sahara One, which has been recovering lost ground due to being affected by the storms in America delivered 162,000.

Al Jazeera English remained the most watched Asian news channel with 871,000 and ARY News slipping further to 312,000.
