Sony SAB TV, Star Gold and Sahara One lost over 100k viewers each in the latest UK ratings, supplied by BARB for week ending 30th September.
Sony SAB TV lost a huge 196,000 viewers. It saw a drastic drop from 327,000 last week to a measly 131,000. Sahara One also saw a steep drop from a high of 420,000 last week to 311,000 this week – a loss of 109,000 viewers.
Star Gold shed over 100k viewers in the The channel was down from 675,000 to 558,000 – losing 117,000 viewers during the past seven days.
Sister station, Star Plus continued its viewership high but with a slight decline from 1,269,000 to 1,257,000 this week. The channel remains the UK’s most watched Asian service. UMP Movies was the second most watched channel with 691,000 – climbing back up from last week’s 634,000.
Star Life Ok was in the next tier with 466,000, meanwhile Zing was steady with 394,000 – up from 346,000 the previous week. Sunrise TV was down slightly from 389,000 to 358,000.
UMP Stars was in the bottom tier with 248,000 – down from last week’s reach of 301,000.
Al Jazeera English was the most watched Asian news channel with 630,000. ARY News was up slightly to 469,000.
