UK ratings: Rishtey & &TV zoom ahead of Colors
Rishtey has taken a swipe at its sister channel, Colors in latest UK ratings, along with ZEE Network’s &TV.
According to official weekly reach data for week ending Sunday 13th September, Star Plus, UMP Movies, Rishtey and &TV took the Top 4 slots in UK ratings, leaving Colors to settle for fifth place. Star Plus delivered a reach of 1,049,000 viewers (last week 1,067,000 viewers), followed by a distant UMP Movies with 724,000 viewers (last week 739,000 viewers) and Rishtey in third with 712,000 viewers (last week 598,000 viewers) and &TV in fourth with 625,000 viewers (last week 519,000 viewer). Colors stayed in fifth with 620,000 viewers (last week 549,000 viewers).
The next tier consisted of a resurgent Star Gold with 601,000 viewers, followed by Zing with 472,000 viewers, Hum TV with 464,000 viewers, SAB TV with 460,000 viewers and Life Ok with 311,000 viewers.
The bottom tier consisted of Geo TV with 265,000 viewers, Prime TV with 225,000 viewers, Venus TV with 199,000 viewers, DM Global with 198,000 viewers, PTC Punjabi with 192,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 161,000 viewers, PTV Global with 157,000 viewers, Brit Asia TV with 142,000 viewers, TV99 with 118,000 viewers, Akaal Channel with 73,000 viewers.
ARY News continued to dominate the news genre with a weekly reach of 527,000 viewers (last week 521,000 viewers), followed by Geo News with 309,000 viewers, Geo Tez with 234,000 viewers, Dunya TV with 223,000 viewers, SAMAA TV with 199,000 viewers, ABP News with 188,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 185,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 101,000 viewers and News18 India with 100,000.
