UK ratings: No major change in pecking order

Asian channels in the UK more or less maintained their positions compared to last week, according to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 10th August.

Star Plus bettered its reach at top with 1,114,000 viewers (up from 1,040,000). Colors was next with 727,000 viewers – up from 722,000 viewers, while sister channel Rishtey was in third with 626,000 (last week 645,000 viewers).

The others in the pecking order were Zing (585,000), UMP Movies (543,000), Sony SAB TV (453,000), Star Gold (399,000), Star Life Ok (382,000), Lamhe (303,000), Hum Europe (284,000) and PTV Global (169,000).

ARY News bounced back in the UK Asian TV ratings with 427,000 viewers – up from 294,000 viewers. Geo News was next with 266,000 viewers, followed by Aaj Tak with 170,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 168,000 viewers, ABP News with 108,000 viewers, SAMAA TV with 98,000 viewers and News18 India with 45,000 viewers.
