Star Plus’ new supernatural thriller ‘Nazar’ and ZEE TV’s new weekday fiction ‘Yeh Teri Galiyaan’ have launched with small figures, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
‘Nazar’, which launched on Monday 30th July pulled in 6,600 viewers in its 22:30 slot. However, it is worth noting that the first week episodes tend to remain on the lower side for viewers to connect to the show. It is expected to pick up in the second week. Incidentally, the show ‘Nazar’ replaced in the 22:30 slot was ‘Har Shaakh Par Ullu Baithaa Hai’, it rated zero in its new 23:00 slot.
Similarly, ZEE TV’s ‘Yeh Teri Galiyaan’ has been on-air for around a week and its Monday night episode raked in just 2,800 viewers at 19:30. Taking a closer look at the first week of the show, ‘Yeh Teri Galiyaan’ registered the following:
Wednesday 25th July (launch) – 2,900 viewers
Thursday 26th July – 9,400 viewers
Friday 27th July – Under 1,000 viewers
