UK ratings: Lamhe & SAB TV get best ever ratings

Sony SAB TV and Lamhe have managed to deliver record ratings in the UK, according to official data released by BARB for week ending Sunday 9th February.

Latest figures put the ZEE channel, Lamhe and Sony SAB TV amongst the top six most watched Asian TV channels in the UK behind Star Plus, which remains the leading choice for UK Asians. Its weekly reach was 1,121,000, followed by UMP Movies with 797,000, Colors was next with 773,000, Rishtey was in fourth with 702,000, Lamhe and Sony SAB TV recorded their best ever figures with 669,000 and 687,000 viewers tuning in.

Zing was in the next tier with an impressive 644,000 viewers, Star Gold with 561,000, sister channel Star Life Ok was at the bottom with 396,000 viewers.

The Pakistani channels ruled the news genre with ARY News reaching a high of 450,000 viewers, followed by Geo News with 391,000 and Aaj Tak with 231,000 viewers. SAMAA TV registered 219,000 viewers. ABP News attracted 153,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 managed just 144,000, while News18 India was down to 64,000 viewers.
