Hum TV emerged as the most watched Pakistani TV channel during the Eid-ul-Azha period this week, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

BizAsiaLive.com analysed data between the four-day Eid-ul-Azha period from Sunday 11th August to Wednesday 14th August 2019. It was during these four days, Hum TV stayed ahead of its rivals in terms of daily share:

Monday 12th August
Hum TV – 0.10%
Geo TV – 0.05%
ARY Family – 0.03%

Tuesday 13th August
Hum TV – 0.08%

ARY Family – 0.01%

Wednesday 14th August
Hum TV – 0.07%
Geo TV – 0.06%
ARY Family – Zero

It is worth noting that Hum TV and ARY Family were the only two broadcasters that scrapped their regular prime time programming for Eid special shows. Geo TV aired Eid shows on just Sunday.

Top 5 Eid shows across the three channels during Eid were:
– ‘Sheikh Sahab Chal Basay’ on Hum TV with 23,700 viewers on Monday
– ‘Markaz-e-Yaqeen’ on Hum TV with 17,800 viewers on Wednesday
– ‘Bulbalay 2’ on ARY Family with 17,200 viewers on Monday
– ‘Reham Gali Ki Husna’ on Hum TV with 17,000 viewers on Monday
– ‘Bakra In Law’ on Hum TV with 16,100 viewers on Tuesday
