Popular Pakistani channel, Hum TV has comes inches to overtake Colors again in latest round of UK ratings supplied by BARB for week ending Sunday 15th March.
According to official data, Star Plus reigned the roster with 1,018,000 (last week 1,073,000) and UMP Movies in second with 675,000 viewers (last week 660,000). Colors remained in third but with a much lower reach of 529,000 viewers (last week 653,000), just ahead of Hum TV, which clocked up 506,000 viewers (last week 625,000). Star Gold was in fifth with 487,000 viewers, Rishtey next with 483,000 viewers and Zing dropping to 468,000 viewers (last week 506,000).
The next tier consisted of Lamhe with 391,000 viewers, Life Ok with 364,000 viewers, SAB with 338,000 viewers. The bottom tier was led by PTC Punjabi with 275,000 viewers, Prime TV with 274,000 viewers, DM Global with 186,000 viewers, Sikh Channel with 180,000 viewers, Geo TV with 154,000 viewers, PTV Global with 149,000 viewers and Brit Asia TV with 122,000 viewers.
ARY News stayed top amongst South Asian news channels in the UK with 500,000 viewers (last week 575,000), followed by Geo News with 291,000 viewers (last week 320,000) and Samaa TV with 243,000 viewers (last week 291,000). The next batch consisted of Geo Tez with 232,000 viewers, Aaj Tak with 202,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 182,000 viewers, ABP News with 177,000 viewers. News18 India slumped to just 20,000 viewers after its channel number change on the Sky Digital EPG.
