UK ratings: Colors zooms ahead of Rishtey
It has been a battle between sister channels, Colors and Rishtey for viewership since Colors increased its weekly reach in the last few months. According to latest data from BARB for week ending Sunday 16th March, it was the turn of Colors to zoom ahead of Rishtey in the ratings.
Star Plus increased its reach with an impressive 1,181,000 viewers, followed by a resurgent Colors with 757,000 viewers and UMP Movies slipping to third with 743,000 viewers. Rishtey was in fourth with 718,000 viewers and Star Gold rounding up the Top 5 with 549,000 viewers.
The next tier saw Zing with 515,000 viewers, Sony SAB TV with 500,000 viewers, Lamhe was next with 498,000 viewers and Star Life Ok at the bottom with 478,000 viewers.
ARY News remained the most watched South Asian news channel with 452,000 viewers, followed by Geo News with 340,000 viewers and NDTV 24×7 with 223,000 viewers in third. Aaj Tak was in fourth with 212,000 viewers, SAMAA TV in fifth with 163,000 viewers, ABP News next with 153,000 viewers. News18 India remained bottom with just 55,000 viewers.
