UK ratings: Colors & Rishtey stay above 700k

While Star Plus maintains lead in the UK Asian TV ratings, Colors and Rishtey stayed well above the 700,000 weekly reach mark in latest ratings.

According to official data from BARB for week ending Sunday 30th November, Star Plus recorded 1,103,000 viewers (up from 1,054,000 viewers), followed by Colors with 749,000 viewers (down from 841,000 viewers) and Rishtey back up to third with 732,000 viewers (up from 681,000 viewers). UMP Movies slipped to fourth with 669,000 viewers (down from 730,000 viewers) and Zing in fifth with 574,000 viewers (up from 541,000 viewers).

The next tier consisted of Life Ok with 524,000 viewers, Hum TV Europe with 479,000 viewers, Star Gold with 408,000 viewers, SAB TV with 393,000 viewers and Lamhe with 348,000 viewers.

The bottom tier saw the likes of PTC Punjabi with 210,000 viewers, followed by PTV Global with 184,000 viewers and DM Global with 137,000 viewers.

ARY News continued to stay above the 500,000 threshold in the news genre with 527,000 viewers (down from 537,000 viewers), followed by SAMAA TV with 344,000 viewers (up from 285,000 viewers) and Gen News with 251,000 viewers (up from 250,000 viewers). Aaj Tak led the Indian news genre with 248,000 viewers, NDTV 24×7 with 215,000 viewers and Geo Tez slipped from 308,000 viewers last week to 203,000 viewers. ABP News was next with 170,000 viewers and News18 India was up from 68,000 viewers to 100,000 viewers this week.
