UK ratings: Colors climbs; Star Life Ok slides

Star Plus continued reign in the UK Asian TV ratings, according to latest data for week ending Sunday 25th May from BARB.

The channel got a weekly reach of 1,013,000 viewers (down from 1,030,000 viewers), followed by Colors was back up to second place with 767,000 viewers (up from 654,000 viewers) and UMP Movies was down to third which got 718,000 viewers (down from 779,000 viewers). Zing was in fourth with 595,000 viewers and Rishtey rounded off the top 5 with 591,000 viewers.

The next tier saw Lamhe in sixth with 466,000 viewers, Star Gold with 458,000 viewers and Sony SAB TV with 429,000 viewers. Star life Ok remained was next falling to just 326,000 viewers (354,000 viewers). PTV Global got 148,000 viewers – down from 164,000 viewers.

Amongst the news channels, ARY News remained the leading South Asian news channel in the UK with 389,000 viewers – down from 383,000 viewers. NDTV 24×7 was back up to second place with 262,000 viewers, while Aaj Tak was in third with 223,000 viewers and Geo News slipped to fourth with 211,000 viewers. ABP News was in fifth with 179,000 viewers.

SAMAA TV was next with 172,000 viewers and News18 India last with an improved performance of 123,000 viewers – down from 169,000 viewers last week.
