UK expert says Jiah Khan’s hanging was staged

In a twist in the Jiah Khan suicide case, a British forensic expert has concluded that her hanging was staged.

Mumbai Mirror reports that the hanging was not the simple case of suicide, according to findings by Jason Payne James. This contradicts CBI findings last month, when it told the Bombay High Court that it had ruled out murder in the case.

The new findings will now be shared with the city sessions court on Wednesday.
