UK 44 returns to Sky EPG after two months
Urdu news broadcaster, Channel 44 has resumed broadcasting on the Sky EPG, two months after abruptly going off-air.
The channel is available free-to-air on Sky channel 756. It disappeared due to “technical issues” a couple of months ago. The service has reinstated its usual broadcast, with news coverage from the UK and Pakistan.
Earlier in the year, Ofcom imposed a £75,000 fine after the media regulator concluded a guest made a number of statements during the show ‘Point of View’, which were deemed as hate speech directed towards the Ahmadiyya community.
