‘Udta Punjab’ has surprised Shahid Kapoor

A week after its release, ‘Udta Punjab’ is doing quite well at the Box Office. In fact, actorShahid Kapoor is surprised by how well it opened.

DNA India quote Kapoor as saying, “It is very weird that something so dark has turned out to be the biggest opening of my career. I don’t know what to make out of it. I am extremely happy that people understood the film. This has proved that there is nothing like commercial or non commercial cinema, there is only good content and bad content.”

Kapoor will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’, which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kangna Ranaut.
