Uday Chopra launches Yomics comic books

Star-son and actor Uday Chopra recently launched Yash Raj Films’ comic book label, titled Yomics. He roped in friend and co-actor Abhishek Bachchan for the official launch.

According to ZEE News, there are four comics being released at the moment��which are all based on YRF releases; ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Hum Tum’ (2004′), ‘Dhoom’ (2004) and also the character-based Daya Prochu. Talking about his own love for comics, Chopra commented, “I love reading comics and it`s my passion. Most people don’t want to get into this (comics) because they don`t want to put money into it.”

He went on to speak about his hopes for this venture, “The success of any skill depends on the audience. I am bringing out four titles together so that they might like at least one. They might identify with at least one character and people will like to read their stories. I will keep at it for a while”.
